This post is not about how it is about why, Why Build Community and Relationships? This to me is an intresting question, and simply answered why not. But I would like to delve a little deeper and tell you a little bit more of why i am wanting to develop community here.
First is Sharing
Sharing of heart and mind. I want to hear from others about what is on there mind. What moves you to speak, what moves you to act? these are the things I want to know. These are the things I share.
Second is Helping
Helping to solve problems and Acting to resolve them. This is how I think community’s should act. If i am wrong tell me, if you want clarity ask questions.
these are the 2 main things that build community and relationships.
Food for thought
think about how you enter in to a new relationship. and I mean any relationship not just starting to date someone. You both enter in to a time of discovery of the other person, by asking questions of the other and they share there answers. In turn you are both sharing and helping each other to learn about one another.
Further on down the road in a relationship as you strengthen what has already been built you can ask more of the other people but I urge you to give more than you get. Add value to the other people in your life versus take take take, this will build a better relationship and a stronger community.
