I have the privilege of meeting lots of people in my travels. some are just in passing others I get to build a relationship with. Yesterday I had the chance to go and pray with people from all walks of life. This was an honer and a blessing
How I was touched, simple just being in the presence of what some would call unclean. I also met people who just needed encouragement. and some of whom I met were just down on there luck in this life. coming to get fed spiritually and physically, are these people who touched my life and they don’t even know it.
These people were also my blessing. They showed humility, not that they were humiliated. Some prayed when we prayed for them others had a tear drawn to there eye and stayed silent. God blessed me by showing me a few more walks of life where there are people in need. in need of food or shelter, just a way to feed there belly and sleep in a safe dry place.
This is a ministry where any one can help. Case in point, one gentleman came in asking how he could get a loaf of bread to make sandwiches to hand out downtown to the homeless in St. Augustine. Little things like this are how we can help. Little Acts of Kindness as you walk through life.
How are you helping? A sandwich, a cup of soup, or a blanket. these little things help.
